WORX GT Revolution 20V 12″ String Trimmer / Edger / Mini-Mower (WG170): Product Review

If you’re looking for a lightweight, adjustable, and convenient cordless string trimmer, I highly recommend the WORX GT Revolution 20V 12” String Trimmer / Edger / Mini-Mower. It’s easy to use, does a very good job, takes up hardly any space when storing it, and with the two included batteries it runs long enough to cover a ½ acre yard. Elevated Rolling U-Garden and Watering System: Product Review

Overall, this is an excellent “self-watering” elevated planter – with a few caveats. The planter itself looks great, is mobile and holds up well. I like that it’s made with cedar that’s certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative. Because it’s elevated, there’s no need to bend when tending your plants – perfect for those with mobility or back issues. Assembly is a little tricky and the optional watering system has some drawbacks but by adding Continue Reading

And with the optional Mover, it can be easily turned or moved as needed. Continue Reading

Galvanized Self-Watering Planter from Gardener’s Supply: Product Review

This is one of my favorite self-watering planters. Not only does it look great, it also works very well. The capillary tubes do a fantastic job of wicking water from the reservoir up to the plant roots. The galvanized steel sides and faux wood aluminum trim withstand even Tucson’s summer blast furnace. And the optional casters make the planters easy to move around. Continue Reading

If you’re not going to get the gloves dirty, they work well with a touchscreen phone and the terrycloth thumb backing is nice for wiping sweat off your face. The Digz gloves have quickly become my gloves Continue Reading
