This is a garden hose with holes in it. You lay it down on the ground and turn the water on and the hose purposely leaks the water at a slow controlled rate into the ground. It’s not magic, it’s a very simple device.THE GOODThis one set me back less than the ones in my local home improvement store. A lot less, it was easily one-third the price. Also positive is that it is made in the USA.THE BADMaybe not bad but not what I expected, I can hold this entire hose with my baby finger. My experience with similar soakers is that they are much more heavy duty. The good side is that it is super easy to handle but on the other hand it makes me wonder how long it will last. But remember it costs a fraction of the fancy ones.THE REALISTICI sincerely question how someone who belittles other reviews from customers who have just a simple need for a simple soaker hose and then goes on to describe an elaborate setup using numerous hoses that he just received that very day could get so many positive clicks. My guess is that they’re all from his coworkers at another hose company. Anyway, realistically this hose isn’t all that different from any other product, it’s not rocket science, just a piece of rubber with holes in it that purposely leaks when water runs through it. Used properly it can’t help but do what it’s supposed to. And guess what, it does, when I turn the water on and adjust it properly water seeps out of the hose and waters my plants. Bingo, end of story, it does what it’s supposed to.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Quality
Reviewed in the United States on June 24, 2016
I have never purchased soaker hoses before these so I have nothing to compare them to but I looked at reviews before I bought these. I wasn't sure but they were really lowly priced compared to other hoses of the same length. I have a double wide trailer with flower beds running the front length and also both sides(width). I have converted both of the sides to add tomatoes on one side and watermelon and spaghetti squash on the other side. Our double wide is a little longer than 25 feet long so I thought these would be perfect, and they are! I think that the water comes out at a great speed. Not too fast but also not too slow. I personally don't want to run the water for 5 hours on each side and 2 hours on each side was perfect. I tested the soil after and it was wet at least 12 inches deep, but didn't seem muddy just wet if that makes sense lol. Also the I noticed another review said that water didn't come out all the way to the end. Well it did for me. Mine are flat all the way down to the end. I can't wait to see how my fruits and veggies turn out this year using soaker hoses!

5.0 out of 5 stars Now this is how a soaker hose is SUPPOSED to work!
Reviewed in the United States on June 15, 2018
2nd purchase and both working great! I purchased one of these three years ago, it’s still working great! I went to the big box store, picked up two 50 foot black colored hoses and took them both back the next day.....uneven dripping and a lot of areas that had no dripping at all. This 100 foot hose gets the water out the entire length of the hose, the very reason I purchased this second hose as the first one gets water the entire length. How about a little inclined area? This hose is in a 8 x 35 foot area with a slope of 15 degrees, not a lot but the water travels throughout the entire hose, super pleased....again...with these soaker hoses. Too much water pressure will blow out any soaker hose, I just play with the faucet until the entire length is beading water.
