Are You Ready To Grow a Perfect Garden?

  1. PLAN – 15 Design Tips From The Pros. What’s “perfect” to you may not be perfect to others – and that’s great! In this book I share design tips to help you create a usable outdoor space that also looks beautiful and doesn’t require more upkeep than you’re willing or able to do. Just follow these 15 design tips – they’re the same ones the pros use to create gorgeous gardens for their clients!
  2. PLANT – When, How and Why. When you’ve finished planning out your new garden, you’re ready to put everything in place. I share with you all of my best tips for choosing and buying healthy plants, techniques for planting, and how to get your new plants off to a strong start.
  3. GROW – What To Do When. There are so many things you coulddo each month that it’s hard to know what you must do. So I share a month-by-month calendar to help you focus on the things that will truly make a difference in your garden.

I’m an Accredited Organic Land Care Professional, licensed Arborist, and former owner of Hemingway Horticulture, a garden design consultancy focused on the use of native plants and sustainable practices. I’ve been gardening since the age of 10, when I first learned about the use of mulch to protect crops from moisture loss during dry conditions (after mistakenly removing all the mulch from my mother’s vegetable garden in an effort to “tidy up the garden” – oops). Over the years, I’ve created and tended gardens in California, Arizona, Michigan, Illinois, Ohio, New Jersey, and Connecticut, as well as Ontario and Alberta, and I’ve learned the hard way that just because I love a particular plant does not mean that it’ll grow where I live…

I’m now playing with gravel and cactus in Tucson, AZ where I edit and publish the Gardening Products Review.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_cta h2=”Learn how to plan, plant and grow a garden that you’ll love!” shape=”square” add_button=”right” btn_title=”Buy It Now” btn_shape=”square” btn_color=”green” btn_link=”url:%2Fbuy-the-book%2F|||”]
